Lefko is a new line of sculptural, poetic lighting in immaculate plaster, defined by a resolutely timeless aesthetic.

2025 marks a turning point for Alexandre Logé, who opens a new chapter in his work. Drawing from the French decorative arts tradition and shaped by a distinctly personal vision, he now introduces a new line of lighting in immaculate plaster.

After two decades of technical and formal exploration — and following the growing success of his chandeliers — Alexandre Logé now introduces Lefko, a standalone brand launching this autumn. Lefko includes pieces such as the Kélé totem floor lamp — named after the spiritual tradition of the Djiné people of Saint Lucia — and the Odyssea pendant, which echoes the mythic journey of the ancient Greek epic. These designs express the collection’s signature fusion of ancestral motifs and neoclassical form.

Plaster — lightweight, matte, and untreated — conveys both rusticity and refinement. Tactile and expressive, it bears the imprint of the maker’s hand, offering a quietly powerful material presence. Long recognized for his sculptural chandeliers and their chiaroscuro effects, Alexandre Logé is now expanding his lighting language into a complete range: floor lamps, torchères, wall sconces, and table lamps. These tall, ethereal forms — often composed of slender rods reaching skyward, sometimes accented with luminous alabaster — drift through space like sketches in air, weightless forms balanced between light and shadow.

Alexandre Logé, creator of sculptural lighting in plaster

After two decades of sculptural experimentation and refinement, Alexandre Logé now enters a new phase — unveiling two distinct collections that crystallize his evolving design language. This designer of exceptional pieces — rooted in the French decorative arts tradition yet shaped by a highly personal sculptural vision — now presents his work as two distinct collections. Lefko is a line of lighting in immaculate plaster; Cosmos is a range of furniture and lighting that merges high-tech with fine craftsmanship. Each collection reflects its own world — its own identity, materials, and creative logic.

A passionate collector of African and Oceanic tribal art, Alexandre Logé enjoys weaving archaic symbols into neoclassical compositions, in the spirit of Alberto Giacometti’s decorative objects for Jean-Michel Frank during the interwar period. His timeless lighting and furniture pieces in plaster or bronze – often inspired by ancient art, Egyptian or Cycladic – are sculptural compositions more than purely functional objects.

Alexandre Logé first encountered bronze and plaster as a teenager, in his uncle’s workshop near Les Puces de Saint-Ouen— Paris’s most storied antiques market, renowned for its decorative arts and restoration ateliers. He spent his Sundays immersed in this world of restoration and antique craft, gradually developing a deep affinity for materials like plaster and bronze. This hands-on education soon led him to create his own pieces, while pursuing studies in visual arts and art history at the Sorbonne. A voyage around the world by sailboat – where each stop included visits to museums, monuments, art and antique dealers – completed his artistic education.

Upon returning to Paris in 2005, he established his studio and began creating sculptural furniture, lighting, and decorative pieces in bronze and plaster — merging soft, organic forms with rigorously structured, totemic compositions.

For nearly two decades, Alexandre Logé’s work has attracted leading luxury houses and celebrated interior designers alike — from chandeliers for Valentino boutiques to a console table commissioned by Peter Marino for the Cheval Blanc hotel. Designers such as Caroline Sarkozy, Fabrizio Casiraghi, and Martin Brûlé, each with their own distinct sensibility, seamlessly incorporate Logé’s pieces into their interiors.

In his Saint-Denis workshop, alongside a dedicated team of seven, Alexandre Logé oversees every stage of creation — from initial sketches and 3D modeling to final finishing. Drawing on two decades of research, he has developed innovative methods for working with plaster. To improve durability and ease of care while allowing for bold sculptural volumes, he blends different types of gypsum with resin to create his own custom formulations.

Alexandre Logé collaborates with leading international galleries such as Donzella LTD and Ralph Pucci in New York, 88 Gallery in London, The Rope in Munich, and Alexandre Biaggi in Paris. Each is given exclusive rights on certain pieces, while others are available direct from his private gallery apartment near Parc Monceau, Paris, and via his website.

Passionate about new materials and creative challenges, Alexandre Logé now divides his practice into two distinct collections, each defined by its own identity and material processes.
