For over twenty years, Alexandre Logé has shaped his original creations by hand in his own workshops, guided by a deep commitment to craftsmanship. He began in a modest studio on the outskirts of Paris, where he explored materials, refined his techniques, and brought long-conceived designs to life. Today, in his ateliers in Saint-Denis, just north of the city, he continues to develop exceptional pieces known for their sculptural presence and unmistakable character.
Alongside three artisans he has personally trained, Logé works through a creative process rooted in transmission, precision, and a deep understanding of material. At the center of that process is a medium with limitless expressive potential: plaster.
Every step, from the custom blending of the material to achieve the right density to its careful application—whether smooth or richly textured—is carried out with meticulous attention. The finishing techniques, always refined and deliberate, result in a level of craftsmanship that brings formal and stylistic depth to each piece.
In his atelier, plaster becomes presence. These lighting works transcend function. What begins as an everyday object becomes an object of desire.
